Days 17 - 19
Whew! Twins can be a challenge! We are all doing well! Kirsten is adjusting to being home with 2 little babies all day long; Christopher is learning to balance feedings with sleep and work. The twins had their first baths at home on Wednesday evening; It was a challenging process for all 4 of us. The twins are eating very well and gaining strength every day. They take 60ml of the breast milk and formula concoction at each feeding. Currently they are at a very respectable 4 hour feeding interval, which seems very manageable. Evan and Nolette sleep much of the time in their cribs or bouncy seats (with vibrations!!!). When they are awake, they are very interactive and curious about this new world. We are enjoying this new experience and wish to thank everyone for their warm words, help, and encouragement.
