Days 4 & 5
The twins continue to improve and get stronger. They have started breast feeding to supplement the tube feedings and seem to have the whole suck-swallow-breathe reflex down pat. They have been spending their time under the billi-lites which is the treatment for the jaundice. The lights are very bright and requires them to wear covers on their eyes. They are thankful to come out from under the lights are very interactive until they have a full belly.
