June 10 - June 12, 2004 (Days 82 - 84)
Evan and Nolette are starting to become more and more interactive. Evan is building upper body strength by pushing up when on his stomach and can hold his head up on his own for several minutes. Nolette has started to giggle and “coo”. Both are starting to reach for things and are holding on tight once they grab hold of it! Evan and Nolette have continued to spit-up significant amounts of their bottles, even after going back to the 22 calorie in take. Therefore, we have decided to try giving Evan and Nolette straight breast milk. The both seem to be tolerating the straight breast milk better; the true test will be how they "weigh in" during their next doctor visit on June 23rd.
