Day 37
Evan and Nolette went back to the doctor today for their 3 week "weigh in". The doctor stated that they look very good and healthy. However, they are a little concerned about the lack of weight gain. Evan weighted in at 6 lbs and 1 oz and Nolette is 5 lbs and 13 oz. Even though they both gained weight the doctor is a little concerned at the lack of overall gain as the doctors were hoping for a minimum weight gain of 1 oz per baby per day (or 14 oz. per child since the last visit on 23). Therefore, we will continue feeding Evan and Nolette fortified breast milk but will be increasing the calorie count to 24 vs. the 22 they are currently getting.
